We just thought that this was a good way to introduce ourselves to you. We are a family of four humans and many cherished pets. We are located in New Salem, Massachusetts. We started out by just thinking about raising Mastiffs and then it grew. We enjoyed raising the puppies and sending them to become new family members in another home. We decided that we wanted to do this more on a full time basis. I was then able to talk my husband into letting me get my Maine Coon Cats. Then the Chihuahua’s came here because Santa Clause saw how much our children loved the little fellas.

In trying to better how we raise the dogs and cats we added on to our now “farm”. We started to raise goats, chickens, and cows. What a really neat and fun endeavor. The goat’s milk is wonderful for the new puppies and kittens. The eggs are great for the animals and of course us. Everything we raise here offers the puppies and kittens the extra nutrition that they need at the start of their fast growing lives.

TAAV’s farm is made up of a lot of love and dedication to what we do here. We truly love what we do and enjoy every minute of it.

I am a full time high school special education teacher, mom, wife, and friend. My husband was in a four wheeler accident years ago and now stays home here and takes care of all of the daily farm chores. He is on the go from sun up to sun down and then some. We truly could not do what we do if he were not as good at what he does. We have a son who is 9 and a daughter who is 6. Their job here is one of the most important ones. They play with and socialize all of our animals. The reason the puppies and kittens go home to you being so well adjusted is because of our kids.

It is not always fun and playing for the kids. We like showing them that you get what you have in life with honesty and hard work. Having our farm has given us the opportunity to teach the kids what life is really about and how to better yourself and the world we all live in.

Our relationship with the new owners of our babies does not need to end when you leave our home. We are here and always will be. Any questions are always welcome. If there is anything that we can do to help out, that is what we are here for.

I would just like everyone to know that we are sorry if we are not getting back to people in a timely manner. We would like to share a bit of our lives with all of you. My mother got sick in October of 2007. God decided that she did not need to hurt anymore and he took her on March 4th, 2008. My father did not take care of himself as he should have during this difficult time. His diabetes and infections got the best of him. He had to make the courageous decision to have the doctors amputate his left leg on September 9th, 2008. We were very busy making plans for him to come and live here with us at our home, TAAV Farm. I am very proud of my father! My dad is now back home after being here and living life on the farm for almost a year and he is doing great. As a matter of fact he loves it here so much he comes to visit at least 2 to 3 times a week.

So now time to take care of me. I just had to have two major surgeries the end of October, 2009. My recovery is going well and I should be back to tip top shape by Christmas. Also, my kids have now had the H1N1 virus and after a long road are getting back to themselves.

We would just like to apologize again for our being a bit busy. The puppies and kittens are doing very well and give us that joy that only they can bring. I will get back to people as soon as I can. We do have Chihuahua and Mastiff pups and Maine Coon kittens available at this time. If I don't get back to you in a day or two, contact me again, you are never a bother, just a nudge for me to get moving.
